Help? My turbo’d mk1 keeps bogging loosing power

  1. My model of MX-5 is: mx5 MK1 NA 1992 Roadster
  2. I’m based near: banbury
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on:
    loosing power when the turbo seems to kick in or randomly not sure but it stops providing any power once i hit 5k in second gear for example goes to 1k rpm without removing my foot at all from accelerator. Link to video:

Has anyone any ideas what could cause this in the video?

It could be very complicated without knowing where to start, You will need more information from the person who set the car up, try and find out who did the conversion.
