would be interested to know if and when you get to the bottom of this - as I had/have the same issue. Couldn’t be bothered to spend a lot of time on what is a bit of a trivial thing, so I just bought a cheap blue tooth receiver which goes into the 12V socket and the Aux socket next to it - works fine, music crystal from my iphone. Sorry, Haven’t tried using the phone as a phone through it though

I have a 3.5 and have my phone paired. I use it only for phone calls, can you use the Bluetooth for music too? I usually plug mine into the aux plug.

No bluetooth audio. Its a very basic system we have in the MX5.
