Hole in soft-top

My soft top roof has a hole right on the seam and i’m not sure what the best thing to use to fix it it! Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated !

I used one of these kits on a previous car and it stopped the leak. You get a variety of sticky patches and a small tube of a mastic type sealant which gives more options to suit the particular location of your leak.
