Once again we plan to meet our friends from North of the Border, to challenge them to another game of (non compulsory) rounders at Holy Island. The Scots are hoping to beat us for the third time, so we need to pull out all of the stops to stop them in their tracks…! Always a great day out - let’s get as many as we can in the convoy!! Plan 10:00am meet for a 10:30 departure from the Travelodge on Seaton Burn roundabout. Drive up to Holy Island - (crossing times are10:45 until 18:10) Flags and banners flying for our grand entrance to Holy Island…(please remember to bring some change for the parking machine on the island!) Putting the Club event shelter up - hopefully there wont be gale force this year! Lunch - Picnic / BBQ (Bring your own picnic / BBQ food, disposable BBQs / folding chairs / etc). There is a fast food van on the site or you could visit an island pub or cafe - it is up to you.
