Didn’t feel “compelled”, just wrote that I was intrigued (etc…)… I don’t mind commenting on posts I not totally interested in.
I read lots of posts, sometimes only the header, and don’t feel the need to reply to them… just when something a simple as km to miles conversion goes past a couple of concise & accurate replies the temptation is there to view more… only to find nothing interesting ~ hence the disappointed feeling of being suckered in.
Thanks for the inital answer as I’ve already said, solved the query I had, I didn;t think to google at the time as I was in a rush for work and query popped into my head whilst eating breakfast
Halli I haven’t made a blatant attempt to sell a car by a non member? I haven’t attempted to sell on here. As it happens when I was ready to sell I was going to stick an ad on here but I assume that as a “non member” I won;t be able to. Believe it or not my posts are genuine enquiries to get my car sorted before I do advertise.
Comments regarding the conversion were a joke, you took them too personally.
Comments regarding the sale were aimed at the Mods, who are usually very, very strict when it comes to “how much do you think my car is worth” questions. Again, wasn’t meant as a personal attack on you.
I personally think that if a member is “active” enough on the forum they should be able to sell stuff within reason.
ROFL man was posted because I actually did laugh a lot.
You should add “EDIT:” when you edit a message too, it makes the flow of the thread very difficult to follow. Plus people won’t know what I was ROFLing at
Erm. Yeah. Erm. I think that since the original question is answered, and the replies are getting more and more confusing, -halli- is right - I’ll get the key…
