How old are You?

38 years old, you can tell by the size of the bags under my eyes. Its like counting rings on a tree stump.

Bags…bags?

A matching set of luggage under mine…! But do I care?

As someone said of Keth Richard’s ā€˜laughter lines’…- ā€œnothing’s that flippin’ funny!ā€

Ā Ā

As old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth! Ā Old enough to know better, but too old to change!Ā  73.25 yrs.

60 in a few months.

Ā

Still working 60 hours a week.

Ā

Married 33 years (why?).

Ā

Have had 5 MX5s.

Ā

I’m always a grumpy git. No apologies.

Ā

My body is failing me…some serious stuff some wear and tear.

Ā

My mottoā€¦ā€œit wasn’t meā€.

70 next month, cycle 90-100 miles a week (when it’s not icy)

Reading through all the posts what struck me is that you create mental pictures of all the regulars on here. My pictures were all about 5-10 years shy of the real ages. Lets just stick with what we feel in our heads.

60 in June but who cares.

Mental age 16 physical age 48 bought first MX5 4 months ago previousĀ convertibles were a 75 and a 76 Spitfire 1500.

You lucky man! I lived in Koblenz for about a year some 30 years ago, and it’s a lovely part of the world. The drive down the Moselle valley (off the autobahn, natch) should be on the ā€˜Great Drives’ list IMHO. A bit further south ā€˜up’ the Rhine lie some of the best vineyards producing what is now greatly underrated wine., and the lovely Asbach Uralt.

I might just follow suit…

'Er indoors says I’m grumpy but I say everyone else is wrongĀ

Sonue says his motto is ā€œit wasn’t meā€ but I say

Ā

for a peaceful married life (47 yrs)

if something goes wrong; it’s my fault

if a kid falls off it’s bike, it’s my fault

the dog farts, it’s my fault

even if I’m out of the country, it’s my fault

do I give a toss? noooo
