I used some Cat5 network cable to thread the wire through the rubber tubes after they had been disconnected from car & door.
Net curtain wire would probably be the best, but I didn’t have any in my tool box!
The control box was stuck to the plastic panel between the steering column and centre console - there’s plenty of room there.
Be sure you secure the wiring in the door with cable ties to avoid interference with window mechanism.
Total time spent (bearing in mind I’m no car mechanic) - approx 6 hrs, but that include tea & smoke breaks, and me being a bit picky and unsure!
