Yes, it might be due to your current user account status. Try making a few more posts around the forum, then try again.

I’ve occasionally had the same problem. Sometimes loading one at a time seems to work better than trying several at once.

Are you trying on a phone/tablet, or laptop/desktop?
If the latter, you should just be able to drag a photo in when you’re writing a post and it’ll upload in a couple of seconds 
Still, probably best to get to 10+ posts and then try then - rules something else out

It could be you are not a full member
Maybe that would fix it, I feel it’s time to do some deeper digging

You don’t need to be a full member to upload and post images on the forum. That’s not the issue.

The forum software is the best I’ve come across for easy uploads so suspect your end first.

Uploads are working fine from the forum perspective.
You do need to allow the images to fully upload before committing.
It normally takes a few seconds, depending on bandwidth.
For the image above this (below) is what is seen in the composer (markdown not rich text option) when the upload is complete and before committing the post.

You can see it uploading. Typically 2-3 seconds.

You aren’t, your account is no different from anyone else’s when it comes to the right to upload pictures. There must be something at your end which prevents upload, what device are you using and where does the upload fail, what error message if any do you get?
You have managed to upload a background picture for your account profile so it has worked.

Wouldn’t be that the files are too big would it?
This is the message I see, seems to just sits there, I can wait but nothing changes, shame as I use my phone Samsung s21

Ive had the same but most of the time its when i try to load more than one photo at a time. It seems to work a lot better if i just do one then when thats loaded i do another.
