Breakdown Insurance:
I gave the MX5 owmers club code to the RAC women by phone to get the 15% discount.<br />Its not DTion its DT 1011 and they give 30% discount. The price is £109.90 for homestart and relay. <br />How does this compare to other breakdown companies?<br />Ive had a company vehicle for the last few years so i havnt got a clue.<br /><br />Spare key:<br />Ive been quoted £90 + Vat for a mobile Auto locksmith. It`s a transponder/ chipped key. Seems a bit steep to me!

Do a search on the Forum for ‘Spare Key’ and you will find plenty of information.
£90 is at the top end of the price range with a Mazda dealer charging even more.
If you insure through Footman James you get U.K. and Europe breakdown cover included in the price. No homestart but then it’s not often they don’t start!!
