As my mx5 didnt come with any soft top or frame, so i bought a very cheap frame and vinyl roof off ebay for £30!
It does need a new roof fitting but i’m a bit skint at the min, so i want to bodge it for a few months.
Over the doors, it has small tears which i plan to fix with a bit of tape, like most people do. However, on the back, where the top layer of vinyl comes down the side of the rear zipped window, its torn away from where it fixes into the bracket/rain rail (hope your following) so my plan is to just glue it onto the vinyl underneath for now. The zip on the window is broken too.
The bottom layer of vinyl that has the window in, seems to be free from any damage, so my repair is just a cosmetic one
All the glue on eBya is 15ml, whih is not big enough. Can i get bigger tubes? is it special gue? I know nothing!!!
