IL Motorsport Rear Number Plate LED Lights

I’ve tried fitting the Smoked LED number plate lights by IL Motorsport to my MX-5 ND 2019 but the connector is completely different to what is already on the car. Am I missing something?

If you remove the bulb on the original lense the new smoked connector should just push in. I hope that helps
