Illuminated Gear Knob - Missing cable loom

Hi All

New to the forum as been owner of my Mk3.5 for a week today! :slight_smile:

In the boot when I bought the car was a box which contained what I now understand to be the official Mazda 5 speed Illuminated Gear Knob.

In the box was the Gear Knob, the leather skirt and a couple of cable ties. The only thing missing was the cabling. I have looked as best I can without dismantling the dash to see if the cable has fallen down when the dealership has put the original back on but cannot see anything. Seems odd that all the other bits are there but not the cabling loom.

Does anyone know where I can buy the cabling from and how easy/hard it is to fit? Im a novice when it comes to working on cars so worried I may damage something.

Pretty sure you just need the harness kit which is here:

then its just Plug and Play from memory, making sure you take care not to break the cable to the knob when putting together
