hi im a very new member. can sombody advise me if my mk3 has a cat 2 immobillzer fitted as standard for two reasons. i need top quailty secuity plus my insurace company will ask me.please help. sorry for my spelling. i look fowood to hear from you

This says that the MX5 MK3 NC has a Thatcham cat 1 system fitted.
