Sadly mx-5 heaven, an independent Mazda mx-5 garage just outside Dorchester in Dorset, is closing down. They used to look after my NB a few years ago. and have a good reputation. They currently have a closing down sale, with some potentially good deals on parts across the mx-5 generations. Good to know, but maybe a little late in the day! The fact they didn’t have a Mk4 section on the website didn’t really help things.
I’d understood it was just the online shop/sales side that was closing, and they were continuing the service side? Is that right do you think?
They still show options for servicing all models on their site.
Some clarification from MX-5 heaven, following a quick email I sent to them this afternoon:
We are closing down the parts side of the business but keeping the workshop and service centre
We do not have any MK4 Spare parts.

Interesting. Reading some of the reviews from the suppliers mentioned some people are happy others not. One not so happy customer said “I have noticed that you have changed your spray can supplier. I have to say that the coverage of the new cans is very poor compared to the previous make that you were selling.” Seems to be variability on quality and cost with these spray cans.
I’ve had similar experiences with the mx5parts supplied spray cans. The cans and paint colour match were ok, it was the just the spray nozzles that were hopeless. I had some nozzles saved from another paint spray job I’d done, they worked perfectly on the cans from said suppliers above.
