As above, fantastic dealers, often come high placed in surveys. Great spec cars often, although a bit hard plastic interiors compared to other high end manufacturers. Very reliable.
Not all of them are Nissan based. The Q30 is based on a Mercedes A-Class W176, but built at Sunderland. It seemed that at one point the market was flooded with them, all mostly poverty spec.
I suppose the Infiniti brand was first introduced to the non-American world in the 1999 Iraq War heist movie “Three Kings” (great film).
And then we all knew, at the time, that Infiniti made a convertible but Lexus didn’t; the in joke was that Infiniti and Lexus at the time were fairly indistinguishable, with derivative styling.
Premium car, define premium? dealership just over a mile from my house, a few cars around me, look great, look quality but never had one but then again, no one posting here has either, so worth a trip to dealer and an extended test drive to make a decision for a nice looking saloon, I’d have one if in the market. Cannot be any worse than a mx5 Geoff

*** having said that, I have consumed a really nice Greek meal washed down by almost three bottles of Retsina so just ignore my inane ramblings
Hong Kong 12th March 2019 – INFINITI Motor Company has today announced a restructuring plan that will focus the brand on its largest global markets, specifically North America and China.
As part of this restructuring, INFINITI has taken the difficult decision to withdraw and conclude INFINITI operations within Western Europe from early 2020. Until this time INFINITI centres will remain fully operational for all your sales and aftersales needs.
Well, I do remember opening the third bottle, everything else is a bit vague Only convenient place I could get it was Sainsbury’s and if you bought 6 bottles they had a 25% off, offer. Would have been rude not to accept it
My daughter and her Partner, yesterday were on the verge of buying a INFINITI car but, at the last minute decided to give it a little more thought until Monday. In the meantime they discovered that they, INFINITI, were withdrawing from the UK and therefore decided to pass on buying one of their cars.
Given that they are either rebadged Nissans or Mercedes, spares support is not going to be an issue. You drive a Eunos Roadster, a badge engineered non-UK version of the MX5; no issues on spares.
from a reselling perspective they drop value like you would not believe. I have seen examples with less than 20k miles loose almost 75% of value in the first 3 years. I cant see a reason for it, but they do not seem to have been that popular with the general public here in the UK
It could be a number of things but i suspect its a lot to do with that awful front end/grill and some of the cars (even only a couple of years old) are still high emissions and attracting the £550 tax band!
