Info sought from previous owner

I’ve had a call from the local Mazda dealer to tell me they have the below ND 1.5 in stock.
I’ve not been to see it yet, but noticed it has an owner’s club badge.

If the previous owner is on here, would they be willing to make contact to discuss the car’s history please?

Smart looking MX. I do favor the black wheels. Hope previous chap (or chapess :smirk:) gets in touch.
btw as all MOTs are digital, maybe you can do some research ??

£12k seems a lot of money for a near 48K mile, near 6 year old 1.5

Interesting comment. I bought my 2017, Soul Red ND 1.5 in February 2022 for £17k with 12k miles, 1 owner and FSH (from a dealer). I’m now on 55k miles and FSH, hoping it may be valued around £12k but perhaps that’s optimistic then? Planning to retire next year so hoping to hold on to mine for some while and annual mileage will fall drastically from next spring. The only consideration will be to trader her in for a newer model with lower mileage and as the saying goes, que sera, sera if the day comes.

Yes, personally I wouldn’t trade in a 55K miles car if there’s nothing wrong with it, for a 48K mile wild card, with who knows what issues. Granted it could have none, but personally, I’d keep the one you got if it’s given you no grief.
Of course trading the car in for a low mileage, pretty newish one is a different story. Again though, if yours is fine, the grass might not always be greener.

Was/am in 1% the same predicament myself. Thought do I trade in my 16K miles, every one by me, looked after to the hilt car, for a pre reg one (so basically new), but who knows what I’ll get. Will the hood be rubbing against the hoops? Will it have clearance, but migrate to rubbing when I drive? Will the '22/'23 later V5 gearbox issues which ‘seem’ to be creeping in, pop up? Do I want the growing multitude of nannies on them these days? (different issue of course). So if one’s a bit risk adverse, there’s only one answer.

If the previous owner of the Mazda ND 1.5 is on here, the current owner is interested in chatting about the car’s history. Feel free to reach out!
