I understand that the injectors fire in pairs, can anyone confirm the pairing for a 1993 1.6 NA?

1 and 3, 2 and 4. The wire colours coming off each pair should match to confirm.

Surely you mean the spark plugs fire in pairs? (As there are only two coil packs)

Yes, the spark plugs do too. It’s a wasted spark system. They fire 1 and 4 and 2 and 3 though.

Simultaneous injection changed to sequential injection on the introduction of the 1.8 I think.
