Interesting video on engine wear based on fuel types. Worth watching all the way through.
Fascinating. I am so pleased now with my choice of Shell V-Power, used exclusively since I bought my ND.
That is a very interesting video by some one who obviously knows his irradiated microns.
While I have no issue giving my little Madge the finest fuels known to humanity there is and probably always will be a little monkey on my back saying ‘do you really trust these guys.’
In the light of this video I guess my doubt now focuses on the people responsible for mixing the individual brands additives ‘in the tanker’.
Looked up who this chap Lake Speed Jnr is in another video he posted. It turns out that he really is a bonefide motor oil geek along with being the son of a one time NASCAR winner and World Karting Champion.
Lake Speed Snr is better known for beating the well known chap from Brazil who has the misfortune to share his prefered name with a laxative, to become the first American to win the World Karting Championship in 1978.
Lake Speeds one and only NASCAR came at Darlington in the TranSouth 500.
Anyway apologies I appeared to have digressed, thanks for the heads up on what turned out to be a particularly fascinating watch.
Edit, I have double checked Lake Speeds win at Darlington in 1988 and it appears in contemporary video evidence that the Wiki entry suggesting a relief driver is false and I have removed the reference to it above.
Yeah, me too. ESSO’s top brew in my case, and V power and occasionally Momentum, before that.
