I’ve recently bought a NC 2.0 manual the locks unlocks perfectly on both the key and fob, great during the day when parked at work, but when I get home the alarm activates after sitting on the drive for about an hour, I then reset and it’s fine till about 3/4am. I’ve resorted to disconnecting the battery, anyones know of any similar issues. Thank you

Have you left a phone or other electronic device in the car?

I had a similar problem some time ago, and turned out it was because I had left my phone in the compartment behind the seats.

Thanks for your reply, it’s got me baffled, it was suggested I might be parking too close to my Internet router

The other suspect for a random alarm is the bonnet microswitch which has been mentioned a few times and I experienced myself.

Thanks Andy I’ve tried that along with door and boot switch, also a battery health check, next check is the battery in the alarm module which contains a rechargeable battery, but is a sealed unit , also I haven’t had an activation for almost a week now. Again thank you
