Is it clutch noise ? drivers seat? The seatbelt?

Hello ,
A bit of a strange one I am trying to locate a Squeaky noise :disappointed:impossible to find …took it to Mazda they could not find it they had the car there for 20 minutes.

So… For about 5 weeks now I am trying to establish the squeaky noise I thought was the seatbelt but am not sure…
I must say if the car ignition is not on there are not any noises…
First I am pressing the clutch down and release not noise changing gears not noise.Engine is off.
Now if I put the engine on
clutching down and release my foot up there is a squeaky noise very thin noise.
But I notice as well that the noise appears sometimes if I drive turn left or right without clutching down.
How is this possible, I ve read the article about the seatbelt I have not used any grease anywhere yet.
If was a problem with the clutch will it still make squeaky noise when engine is turned off regardless?
Has anyone come across with something like this?
Is an MK3

I had a similar problem to this, used to drive me nuts. Eventually traced it to the push rod on the clutch slave cylinder. Just smeared some grease round it and that sorted it.

Thank you I will try that hopefully that will be it!

You could also try a bit of grease on hooked ends of the clutch pedal return spring.

Thank you I will do the weekend hopefully will be ok.
