Is my NC Velocity Red?

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: The paint colour

My VIN says it’s Velocity Red. When I Google ‘Velocity Red MX5’ they don’t look the same colour as mine.

Is it just the my monitor or is mine a different colour?! (Pics attached of mine, the vin and a screen shot)

My eyes are telling me that’s Copper Red 32V. Looks like you have a PRHT Sport model.

I have the same car (except mine is an 07) and was told it was called Copper Red like @MickAP said

That looks like it to me… How very strange :person_shrugging:

Not sure why the VIN plate code is saying 27A (Velocity Red) and not 32V (Copper Red)

That plate doesn’t tell you the colour code, mine hasn’t got 34K colour code on it.

Thanks. £11 down the drain but if anyone would like some genuine Velocity Red touch-up paint (9ml) then let me know in my PM’s and I’ll post it out for free :slight_smile:

If you contact mx5 parts with your vin they will tell you your paint code and the correct part for touch up or cans.
