I’ll be picking up my new Mx5 next week and the agent has offered me a contract with an outfit call “Auto Protect” whereby for £349 and for a period of 3 years I can obtain mobile minor bodywork repairs up to a value of £3000 (minor dents, scrtches, scuffs and chips)
Has anyone any experience of the service provided by this company? Thanks.
In the last three years have you picked up between £349 and £3000 in minor body damage that wouldn’t have been covered by your normal car insurance? If so this might be worthwhile, assuming the quality of work is excellent, and that the claim procedure is entire grief free.
If you don’t routinely damage your car then it’s probably a waste of money.
I probably have incurred minor damage in excess of the premium value of £349 over the course of the last three years but having an older car I haven’t been too concerned about getting it repaired.
