Is the ND RF automatic gearbox unique?

I’m toying with upgrading the power and torque of my ND1 2.0 RF automatic and am trying to research the robustness of the transmission.
I’ve read that some people have had issues with the manual gearbox but I’ve not read similar of the auto. It would for example, be reassuring to know that the RF auto box is the same as has been used elsewhere in the Mazda range and is sufficiently strong to deal with eg the torque of a 2 litre turbo diesel! :slightly_smiling_face:

Does anyone on the forum know such a thing or can you point me in the direction of someone who does?

The ND auto box is the same as the one that was used in the NC, not sure what other cars it’s been used in.
