I frequently see people posting about upgrading springs and ARBs from a variety of different sources, but I’ve yet to find sensible tables listing them and comparing the differences between them. Are there any easily accessible to the general community?
While I’m very happy with my car as it is, I’m still curious, and I would like to know how much difference there really is between the various options.
For example; my PRHT NC has (I think) standard suspension for 2l with lsd and the normal ride height,
at the rear the ARB has a GREEN dot, is 11mm in diameter, and the springs are black with a yellow dot, shocks are black with a white label,
at the front the ARB has a BLUE dot, is 22.5mm in diameter, and the springs are black with no visible dot, shocks are black with a blue label.
However the suspension is still stiff enough that if I ever try the old fashioned bounce test by pushing down on a wing I can see and feel that the wing will dent long before the car moves.
So then, are there tables comparing the different grades of stiffness for the different colour dots and diameters of the various ARBs and springs from the various sources?
Of course it gets complicated if one tries to link them with useful pairings, and then one needs to consider the shocks.
I found a bit of info from four years ago, but this was mostly about using the RX8 bars.

And of course, if the car is lowered then the drop links need to be adjusted slightly to make the leverage of the ARB optimum again for the new gamut of the wheel travel, and I’ve not seen this mentioned much.
Any thoughts?
