- My model of MX-5 is: __ 1997 Mark 1 NA 1.6 90BhP
- I’m based near: __Glasgow
- I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __ Removing the stock clutch line and replacing with a braided shorter one.
Can anyone help?
I’ve managed what I thought was the hard part in removing the OEM clutch master to slave line.
I’ve bought a replacement braided line however I can’t figure out what end goes to the slave and which end goes to the master.
The unions at each end of the OEM line move freely and on the new braided line only one does this. When I roughly line everything up it looks like I might have a job connecting the line to the master.
I have tried both ways and neither looks great or like it will be easy to fasten to the master.
I’m wondering if It’s the right cable I’ve bought.
