It’s supposed to be lucky?

And it’s not the first time! Luckily neither seat or occupant have victims to date…

At least it’s only your car. A seagull got me in Berwick -upon-Tweed last week :face_vomiting:

The first time I took my daughter for a spin in my NB a seagull pooped on her head. We have a LOT of seagulls in Bournemouth

My ‘98 NB used to live in Bournemouth with its previous owner. It’s still got a seagull poo burn on the black paint on the windscreen frame. I reckon those blighters drink battery acid!

Have you tried heat?
Apparently, gentle heating can soften the clear coat which re-settles to a gloss again.

I haven’t. Two reasons….firstly, the car is almost twenty five years old and I think any flexibility in the clear coat will have long gone. Secondly, the mark is on the top of the windscreen frame. If I apply heat there’s a chance that either the glass or the rubber seal around it, or the seal for the roof may get damaged. :exploding_head:
