Has anyone fitted a JR MP62 supercharger from Moss to a RHD MK2.5? If so, where did you mount the idle air control valve?

I mounted it on the back of the firewall, inline with inlet manifold just had enough room, but was tight.

If you have a look on Mtech of westbury website, look in there gallery for mx5 supercharged, you will see pics of my old car, and the mounting of idle control valve. I fitted the charger myself, and sent it to them to tune. but thats another story.

Thanks, you don’t have any close up photos of the valve fitment do you? Mtech’s photos are a bit dark.

 Sorry I know it’s an old thread, How did you get on with the MP62? What increase in power did you end up with ? What else did you have to take into consideration? and what was the total cost of the upgrade?

Did you record a history of the work written or pictorial?
