While I won’t profess to be an expert of JAE, I can tell you a lot about Wicksteed Park as I walk the dog there.
Having been to JAE before, the venue, which it typically gentile and family with young children orientated seems at odds with a large scale car festival. The Go Kart track which is receiving so much interest is actually a kids ride. 2 laps around an Edwardian cycle track taking all of two minutes in large fibreglass bodied cars that all but stop on the two corners. It may work, but it doesn’t seem an easy marriage.
I went to the organisers meeting yesterday and it is certainly a quirky place. Nutz will be there.
