Japfest Silverstone 2020

I will be going to Japfest Silverstone 2020 this year in my 10th Anniversary. I am relatively new to the MX-5 club but wondered whether the club will be attending the event and whether I can therefore buy club tickets?

Don’t think they are there this year, they were last though

OK, that’s a shame, I will just book a ticket to display on my own then.

We will have a pitlane display at Japfest. Updates on our ticket package are coming.

I stand corrected, had been told by other members they didn’t think they were this year and not seeing anything so close I didn’t think they were. Sorry blue lightning

I just booked in two MX5’s. First time at event. Just hoping to be pointed in the direction of other MX5’s.

I’m hoping to attend but will have the children with me so won’t be in my NC.

Announcement from the organisers

Japfest Silverstone 2020

In light of the developing situation surrounding the Coronavirus, Kelsey Media, organisers of Japfest Silverstone, have concluded that we have no option but to postpone the 2020 event until later in the year.

We are currently in discussions with the venue and will release a date for the event in the near future.

We would like to thank the support of our venue partners at Silverstone Circuit, our customers, clubs, traders and sponsors for their patience and understanding at this time.

All existing bookings will be carried forward to the rescheduled date.
We advise ticket holders to check our social media pages, the Japfest website and their inbox for updates in the upcoming weeks.

At present, we have no further plans to cancel or postpone Kelsey’s remaining motoring events for 2020. But we will of course continue to monitor developments in the weeks ahead.

The safety of the public and our staff is our number one priority and we will continue to review the advice from public health bodies and the government.

Like other companies in this sector, Kelsey Media remain committed to delivering our events in a safe environment.
We are working closely with the venues, taking whatever steps necessary to ensure the safety of the public and staff alike.

Thank you for all the replies. As above from iainf, it looks like pretty much the whole show season is on hold until after this Corona Virus passes. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy. I guess now I will have a little longer to sort out all of those little odd jobs on the car that you never get time to do otherwise.
