Jasper Conran Minidisc header unit

Hi

Does anyone know the model number of the header unit used to control the Minidisc changer (located in the boot) on the Jasper Conran Edition MK2. Possibly someone who owns an existing JC Edition? I found the details of the Minidisc changer, which I’m looking to purchase but I’d like to find an original header unit to get the set-up back to stock if possible.

Do you mean the unit that’s in the dashboard (I’ve actually got two of them) - not sure how I ended up with two thought I only had one - one has all the wiring connected, the other doesn’t not sure if that one works. It also has a blue tooth connector dongle on it, I had it fitted in the car a couple of years ago, but for some reason I changed it back to the non-stock one, think it might have been as I couldn’t connect my phone to it??

I also have the mini-disc unit if that’s what you mean, I should have the remote controller somewhere.

I’ve no intention of selling them, but I’ll help you out with the numbers if you can clarify the above.

Hi Mike, thqnks, yes that is exactly what I’m after, the model number for the unit in the dashboard. I think I have the reference for the multi disc unit in the boot so don’t need that. Thanks for your help and if you did consider selling…

It’s a difficult one, the front drops down, but I’ve no way of powering it at home to get it down, and don’t want to force it and possibly break it. Kind of want to try it in the car again, but concentrating on getting the final part of the backbox off first - be this weekend before I (hopefully) get that sorted and the following before I get a new back box on, if I’ve time this weekend I might get around to trying, but not promising.
I took a pick of the front as it is up and locked and the remote - always thought it a bit silly/strange having a remote control for the stereo in a car!

So this is it with the unit open - one of the two I have is asking for a code and I’ve no idea what it is!
Couldn’t get all the functions working but the remote battery was dead and I didn’t start the car as no backbox on it just now - hopefully next weekend. The only way you can enter the code is via the remote, also couldn’t get my phone to connect via Bluetooth - I’ve a dongle plugged in where the connection for the minidisc cable plugs in
