The 2022 Castleton Run on the 3rd April will start from McDonald’s Markeaton Island, Derby, at the junction of the A38 and A52.
We plan to meet there at 9.30am for departure at 10.00am.
The drive through the lanes and byways of Derbyshire will be approximately 70-75 mile long with a coffee & cake stop at Hartington (tbc) with arrival in Castleton at approx. 2.30pm…No formal lunch/dinner arrangements have been made but there are several pubs, cafes and even an excellent fish and chip shop to chose from in Castleton so please feel free to make your own arrangements

I am sorry we won’t be joining you on Sunday, we have taken the difficult decision to do no socialising between now and our holiday next week to give us every chance of remaining Covid free. Coming and missing the meet and greet, coffee stop etc just would not be the same. Gutted we will miss this, and know that as always everyone will have a great time and will appreciate all the hard work you put in. For the same reason we won’t be going to The Coopers on Thursday - but will be back there at the end of April fingers crossed.
If you are able to share a copy of the planned route sometime we will try it later in the summer!
