Don’t often click on these links but as NB 2.5 owner I did due to pic of extreme mods on a Miatas

Glad I did…what a Legend…interesting learning about the origins of the MX-5 and witty and observant comments by inventor :smiley: :rofl: :saluting_face:

Watched this yesterday, what a funny guy. A real character.

Bob Hall wasn’t the designer, or inventor, of the MX5. He was a former journalist who got a job with Mazda in product planning. Many other people, mostly not in the limelight, designed the thing.

After Mazda, he went to Proton. I guess that wasn’t so successful.
