Strangely enough that is something we did when smaller, much younger and before H&S took over the world.
There was a rock pool with a sort of slide down a rock slab for about ten yards dropping maybe ten feet where the stream came in, very iffy sliding down that without protection because it would wear through a pair of trunks in a couple of goes.
So instead one of the parents found a fat old tractor tyre. We curled up in that and kept elbows in. Fantastic!
