I’ve fitted a pair of these speakers. I trust you can find your way into the rear of the door cards, if not shout up.
Easy enough to remove the original speakers but to install the JVC ones you’ll need to transfer the rubber/foam material gasket from old to the JVC ones. Again easy enough, take your time so as not to damage them as they are stuck in place.
Another modification is the wiring, there are various ways, mine was to cut the wiring connectors off the ends of the speaker wiring and use the supplied connections in the JVC ones. You may need to add extension cables, others I’ve read have done it differently.
To add to the sound effect I applied some sound deadening matting to the metal door skin, as much as I could physically get to in there, I think it made a difference to the sound quality over the OEM speakers.
