My key fobs for my 2006 car are not enjoying unlocking/locking the car. I have replaced batteries but not solved the problem.
As the key fobs are old taking them apart with aging ends was not easy, and broke the attachment for being able to put them on a key ring.
Is there cheap alternatives to paying Mazda prices for new fobs?
Thanks in advance
Depending where your buttons are on the key fob, this may fit the bill
Have a look on AliExpress. For example.

Hi
I have used the AliExpress replacements. Make sure it has the circuit board included, otherwise you will possibly transfer the problem.
The remotes DO NOT come with the immobilizer chip, however I just used the part of the old case with the chip and it works fine.
I used the method of cycling the ignition and opening / closing the drivers door to programme the new remote with no issues.
