Changed battery on my mk3 7 weeks ago. When opening or locking doors I have to press key at least 2/3 times before response. Do I need new batteries or do I need to re programme key. Thanks

Forum section search. Key will not register to car. It’s something like that and may help you. The final contribution has the complete answer but I see that you might get lucky and try doing actions from No.7 and get a result, or key in ignition three quick turns on / off etc… as per instructions.
