Loads of non Mazda BLACK EDITION badges available from various car manufacturers, I’d just say it was the English version  would be a talking point at least, until you could source the genuine thing.

Speaking from experience your going to find it very hard to find any.

I checked with Mazda Uk and there have none available. They just make enough for the edition and a few spares. The spares are now sold. MX-5 parts had a few but they are gone.

Luckily I managed to spot an unused one on eBay recently and picked that up. I will use that to replace one of mine which must have been put on using a wonky spirit level!

Your best bet is to get them off a scraped vehicle although with Kuro’s not being that old or that many you could have a long wait.

As I like to be a bit different I did pick up a pair of Mazda RX8 Kuro badges. I’ve toyed with the idea of using those instead. Personally I think they look nicer. The fact they are Mazda badges plus the shared heritage of the Mk3 with the RX8 kind of appealed to me. Perhaps that’s something you could consider? The only thing that put me off going down that route was finding suitable foam based 3M tape to mount them to the wings.

Good luck hope you find some

Mark

PS there are some RX8 Kuro badges available on eBay at the moment although they may have been painted black

They are actually silver chrome effect as can be seen on this wing also available on ebay

That’s a good call Mark  I know I don’t have such a vehicle but if I did, I would probably go down that route based on the scarcity of the mx5 version. A lot better than my suggestion
