Wondering if someone could help with a wee issue I’ve got.
I rather stupidly (once again!) left the lights on half the other day and got a flat battery. Recharged it no problem but now the laserline alarm is not working, the light in the car is on showing it’s armed however the fob doesn’t do anything (new battery put in it) and the alarm light just stays on. The alarm doesn’t work as I can open the doors and drive about no probs.
Anyone got any idea what I can do to sort it? Also, where is the alarm under the hood so I can get the laserline model number?
Cheers
Hello, I have a Laserline 211. The user guide does’nt mention car battery flat problems. Is the socket led lit ? If it 's not the system is dead & may have a fuse blown. I would try the key in the alarm socket to see if the alternative arm/disarm works.
cheers for the reply. Yeah the socket light is on solidly. I’ll try and see what model it is I have.
I have a Laserline 996V3. Nothing in the instructions mentions a flat battery but the fact the light is on solid suggests it may be working. It does mention that the remote control may require resetting. To do this stand next to the vehicle and press and hold the arm/disarm button. Within about 5 secs the remote LED will dim. press the arm/disarm again and the alarm should respond. Worth a try? If it doesn’t dim it suggests the remote battery needs replacing.
Gave it a bash but no joy I’m afraid.
It’s getting a service next week so I’ll get them to have a wee look.
