Late night Lecht

One of the best ways to enjoy your MX-5 is on a dark clear night and have a drive under the stars.

10 cars convened in Ballater on Royal Deeside this evening where drivers and passengers enjoyed a chip supper. Once fed a most enjoyable trip up the Lecht to Tomintoul, down to Dufftown the Whisky Capital of the World and then back over The Cabrach.

There’s much more to Scotland than the NC500, not a single motor home got in the way this evening

Top down at night is something I’ve yet to do.

A work chum also extols the virtues but it’s not something that’s ever called to me. (Possibly because my night vision isn’t great?)

I’ll admit your photos look good but what mark of MX-5 is that on the left of the middle pic?

Thanks for sharing the adventure.

Perhaps I’ll give it a try sometime

Cheers,

Guy

I only said this week to Mrs A, we need to go out in the dark in our ND, top down of course.

She agreed, a fish & chip supper definitely.

Drove to Penina, from our accommodation in Lagos, Algarve to visit some friends, one evening in June.

Driving back, roof still down and low 20’s C along the EN125.

Lovely

I love driving at night with the roof down even in the winter.

My wife and I love driving at night with the roof down. Its quite magical.
