Le Shuttle and lowered NC

Anyone taken a lowered NC on Le Shuttle?

I am just wondering about ride height and whether I will clear the lip on the shuttle loading ramp if I go in a “standard” two deck carriage. I understand that there are options for lowered cars to go in with the “Large” vehicles as those carriages have a different ramp profile but I have heard that costs (a lot) more money.

I believe that @Mister_H has with no problems and no doubt many others too.

As a regular shuttle user I can see no reason why you would have a problem . You might want to ask the attendants to let you go on the lower level just to be on the safe side .

We have been on le Shuttle many times with our lowered NC with no problem.Normally they spot cars with low ground clearance and automatically put you on the lower level but we have also been up the ramp to the top level with no problems, just take it slowly

Out of interest how low is your nc? Is it low enough to catch the odd speed hump if not careful?

My lowered NB hits some speed humps but its never been a problem on Le Shuttle, but I’ve only ever been on the lower deck, which is usually where the seem to send you in an MX-5. You can indicate a preference by waving your arms a bit it seems!

Our NC is on 30mm lowering springs. Some speed humps can be tricky but never a problem on le Shuttle
