Whats people using? recently had new leather seats fitted and want a cream compound which dosnt leave the leather looking patchy/shaded.
I’ve used Leather Honey Conditioner for years
Consistently gets good reviews, and has always left my leather upholstery looking and smelling like new. Brilliant on boots & shoes as well

I use autoglym leather care balm.
It leaves a nice fresh leather aroma, the smell doesn’t last very long though.
I use Elephant Leather Preserve. This stuff makes any leather item look and feel great.

I like Urad products - especially Mr Jojo Waterproofer and Conditioning Wax (yellow pot). I also use their Shoe and Leather Cleaner, which gives a shine, but you need to be careful with that to do it very evenly on something as large as a car seat.
I use their Leather Shampoo first - it’s worth cleaning before treating.
The Leather Honey recommended above certainly gets some good reviews, I might try it.
+1 for the Autoglym Leather Balm. I did my seats with it at the weekend. It seems to rub in well and I have never had a problem with it going patchy.
Thanks,Just ordered the Leather Honey see how i get on with it.

A word of warning/advice:
Semi-Aniline Leather is used for modern car seats. It differs by using a thin protective top coat that seals the leather. It also adds a little extra protection from wear and aging.
Therefore, the use of conditioners/balms are totally unnecessary and more likely to attract dirt than repel it!!
Follow this simple guide:
- Use a vacuum, or soft brush, to remove loose dust, crumbs or other particles from your seats. Ensure you use a soft brush attachment with the vacuum to avoid scratching the surface of your leather.
- Dilute a mild soap/detergent with approximately 8 parts of lukewarm water. OR...Use a dedicated Leather cleaner and read the instructions
- You can use a sponge lightly but be wary not to overly saturate the leather.......Using a spray bottle is a safer form of application, especially for cleaning perforated leather car seats.
- Use a lint-free or microfiber cloth to gently wipe the suds around your leather seats.
- Now spray the seat with clean lukewarm water, wipe over with a clean cloth and remove all soap residues.
- Wipe with a clean dry cloth and allow the interior to air
Don’t over saturate the leather. Take extra care when cleaning perforated leather car sea
You must only use a MILD soap/detergent, PH-balanced and non-abrasive
The following products are NOT suitable: strong dishwashing detergents (Fairy liquid), saddle soap, furniture polish, oil, ammonia, alcohol or cleaning solvents
