Celebrating 33 years of fundraising for Children in Need
MX-5 OC Cambridge & Kings Lynn are pleased to advise that we are again organising a club stand at the above event. We have an allocation of 40 spaces and they are filling up.
It is always an exciting event with continuous flying, scores of glorious veteran, vintage and classic cars together with commercial and military vehicles along with a spectrum of stalls to interest everyone between 10 and 100 years old.
There are food and drink outlets on site, but we group our MX-5 cars together, so bring a picnic and some chairs and enjoy the meeting and picnic with us!
In the Air
You can enjoy over three and a half hours of flying action – from early biplanes, WW2 warbirds through to modern extreme aerobatics featuring solo and formation air displays with world championship aerobatic pilots and the Global Stars Aerobatic Formation Team plus much, much more.
There will also be several aircraft on static display including fabulous Hawker Fury and Hawker Hurricane restorations from the Cambridge Bomber and Fighter Society.
On The Road
More than 300 classic, custom, historic, vintage and ex-military vehicles from the earliest days of the internal combustion engine, showing off the amazing variety of engineering and design skill that has gone into getting us from A to B over the last century or so. Not forgetting the amount of time and effort that has gone into their pride and joy, allowing us to view these in the high standards and finish you would only expect to see.
On The Ground
A funfair, over 70 trade stands and a craft fair selling all sorts of handmade items including clothing, pottery, jewellery, gifts, toys, cakes and sweets, plants, etc. + live music from local band ‘Junkyard Preachers’.
Other ground exhibits include vintage tractors, stationary engines, scale model aircraft, glider and a rare F1 aircraft racer.
SPECIAL PRICING for MX-5 Owners Club members. Normally £30 per person, but by joining as an Exhibitor you enjoy a big discount and pay £16 per person for entry with an MX-5 (£32 for a car, driver and passenger). An MX-5, driver and child passenger would be £21.50.
