Little Gransden Air & Car Show Sunday 24th August

You asked, so we are again arranging an MX5OC stand at the Little Gransden Air & Car Show

Closing date for club registrations will be 25th July.

An exciting event with continuous flying, scores of glorious veteran, vintage and classic cars together with commercial and military vehicles, along with a wide spectrum of stalls to interest everyone.

What does it cost? (Discount Pricing)

By joining us as Exhibitors, you would enjoy a big discount and pay £16 per person for entry with an MX-5 (£32 for a car, driver and adult passenger) or (£21.50 car, driver and a child passenger)

There are food and drink outlets, however, we group our MX-5s together so bring a picnic and some chairs and enjoy the meeting and picnic with us!

We have an increased allocation of 40 spaces so please register your interest on a first come-first served basis below.

We will contact you for payment and then issue more detailed joining instructions nearer the time. We have been asked to arrive and be positioned between 0900 and 0930 so we plan to rendezvous at the Caxton Gibbet services at 0830 for tickets to be distributed and to convoy to the airshow. Normal booking prices are £30 per adult and £7.50 per child

The new shelter took a little working out - instructions would have been nice but everyone had their own ideas. Got there in the end!

Pleased to report that one third of the available spaces have been booked, look out for an email reminder from the Eastern Region and it will also be posted on Facebook shortly which will attract bookings from outside the Eastern Region.

Check your diaries and if you fancy an entertaining day out, then please book a space!

UPDATE. SOLD OUT

No places left on our 40 car allocation; we may be able to get more spaces but there is no guarantee.

For those who have registered, please note that we will be sending you a request for payment in the next few weeks. We will also issue joining instructions before the event so that we can arrive at the Show together so as to be able to park for the car display.

We have today sent out an email asking for the ticket monies - either £32 for car and 2 people, or £16 for car and driver only.

Please ensure that you’ve paid by July 14th as that is the date that we have to pay Little Gransden. We cannot guarantee a place at these discounted prices if you miss the deadline.

What a splendid event.
Huge thanks to all involved in the organization and work to bring everything together for us.

A super turnout of MX-5 of all eras.

Cars in all shapes and sizes.

Aircraft from virtually every era too.

The flying display was really varied with a selection of older civilians and military types, guest aircraft like the P-51 Mustang,Marinell, Spitfire MH434, a Jet Provost trainer, the B-17 Sally-B and a surprise guest of a rare Douglas Invader from the Korean War to name but a few plus spellbinding aerobatics.

Chatting with folk about their cars and making new friends is always fun.

I was particularly taken by this rare Pitcrew NA.

Great day out with great cars,both MX and others and some beautiful airplanes! Great air display for such a small airfield!

Great to meet so many like minded people!

Hope your drive back was as good as mine as goggle maps kept me well away from the A1 and a421 so lots of windy bendy roads-loved it.

Just a quick note to say THANK-YOU to all who signed up for the Air & Car Show.

Over £1,000 raised for Children In Need, and also the most MX-5’s we’ve had at the show (and 1 honorary MX-5 disguised as a Kawasaki 800).

Was asked by one of the Marshall’s if we plan to break the record next year . . . who knows?

Thanks for supporting the event, it was greatly appreciated by John and myself.
