Great drive out with Barrie
Both these examples are credits to their respective owners.
Alloys really set yours off in my view Bally

2 x mk2.5 and a mk1 making the trip
SO, the trip to Scotland was a success
we covered 737 miles in 3 days , in some torrential rain
no mechanical issues for any of the cars which was fantastic
heres a couple of pics ,
Great photos of your trek bally3, thanks for sharing them.
Your -5 looks smashing.
Is the placement of your front number plate commented on at MOT time?
Cheers,
Guy
thanks guy , i changed it after mot
She gleams
Another little treat coming tomorrow for it ( hopefully)
well here’s the treat ,
a set of maxpeedingrod coilovers …
i know , i know , these are not the best make
but for what i want and the price paid , these will do .
bought because the arch gap was huge before
99% of the time the 5 only goes out in the dry and does around 3k miles / yr so should last my time with it
These get 2 yrs warranty according to site i bought them from .
the only issue , as i already knew , is the fronts go super low , but the rears not low enough
before ,
after ,
i’ll get some better pics later
as the weather is poor and i cant get on with my garden project i thought i’d tinker with my 5 …
i fitted the “switchback” indicators a while back but decided to add some more DRL’s behind the grill …
here with “switchbacks” and DRL’s on
Does indeed look much better!
