electric aerial love them many moons ago I had one on my fiat X/19 & T ,\spitfire …. I would fit one however the ones I had always seemed to end up being replaced with a coat hanger at some point 
I don’t know with the cars today weather the elect ones would interfere with reception……I am not so keen on the whip type ones ……
