Hello Ive just joined the Forum so looking forward to some interesting articles Ive recently sold my classic MG F .Due to health reasons and age Ive decided its time to stop buying a project doing it up and selling it on. So Im starting to look for an inexpensive MX5 to spend time on it,when I feel like it. I feel its a shame after 25 years of restoring cars as a hobby ,not to use what Ive learnt about restorations I cant believe the rot on some cars Ive looked at If you can see rot ,theres a lot you cant see .Ill keep you posted when I pick an MX5 up Len

Morning ,why are so many MX5s advertised with bottom end faults with the engine Is there a reason for the big ends or mains to fail Len
