Hi All, new to this site hopefully looking in the right area, I am looking to buy a decent 1.8 engine with or without turbo to go into my 91 mk1. Any distance considered.
Hi. Are you still looking for a 1.8 engine. My 94 Mk1 1.8 has died due to rust and so I am breaking for parts. It was used as a daily and still has 2 months left on the mot. Its got a few upgrades such as Magnecor leads and a K&M air filter. The engine is still in the car so you would have to remove it but you can see if running first. There is a leak on the waterpump but I have all the parts to replace it including gaskets, seals and timing belt. I live in Manchester
