Does anyone know the part numbers for the front and rear lower shock washers for a mx5 nc 3.5? It is the part that sits above the bump stop, may not be called a lower shock washer, blame flyin Miata stage 1 video if it isn’t!
Looking to fit koni sport shocks which have a bigger diameter shaft than the bilstein ( apparently 12 mm rather than the 10 mm on the bilstein) but seeing as nobody near me is willing to “modify” the part I’m struggling to get these fitted.
So I figured I could just buy the parts and drill them out myself to supply.
Is it a cupped washer or a flat washer? If it’s flat there are surely standard alternatives out there of an appropriate thickness and od/id that are suitable? Failing that there are some great companies out there that can make you some such as lasermaster, they are happy to do small batch runs as well. I’ve used them many times and they’ve always been spot on.
Hi, it is the cupped one that sits on top of the bump stop. Koni supply the top flat washer with their kit. I’ve done internet searches for it but don’t seem to be able to identify the part number for the lower washer.
