My 1.8 NC is totally standard and I’d like to lose the 4x4 look.
Am I right in thinking the cheapest way of doing this is a set of Eibach springs? Are there any other parts needed?
I’m not very handy mechanically so would have to pay someone to fit them, could anyone recommend somewhere decent in Somerset?
Any help would be much appreciated!

I would strongly advise against dropping any more than 30mm. The Eibach springs are a good fit and transform the look and handling of my 2005 NC. But more importantly is that you’ll have to get the geometry done afterwards otherwise it will be scary/ dangerous/ entertaining to drive! I don’t know of anyone in Somerset but my local garage in Okehampton, Devon, (Tyred and Exhausted) fitted mine and also did a great job of the setup. They are getting quite a name for setting up MX5s and 911’s too.

I agree with the above, 30mm from the standard height is enough and a proper alignment at a specialist.
