I’ve done a few searches but am unable to find any information on what sort of lubrication (if any) is needed on the electric roof and its workings.

Hi Steve, I just used common sense and have oiled or greased all pivot points on the frames/gears/pivot points. Spray grease and ordinary multi grade oil Is what I used. I’ve also treated the seals with some ptfe type spray that the Audi service guys left in the wife’s car! Have a start here though, might be of some help.

As Barrie says all pivots, I use Motor Bike Chain Spray sticks like s–t to a blanket, also use it on all door hinges, see you morrow Baz??, cheers Rob.
Hi Rob, yes I’ll be there bright n early I’ll be halfway there at 04.30 as I’m dropping Mum in Law at Manchester airport. Then back home to set off at 07.00 for the meet!
